HEARTBROKEN

Two days had passed since Evelyn had seen her husband. She was angry that she didn’t even tried to contact him but the void of her husband’s absence gnawed at her.

She couldn’t even attend the university making her feel so disturbed. She was in her bedroom , tidying it up , missing her husband when all of a sudden , someone opened the door making her frown.

“ you look like you could use some company “

Lucian spoke , a teasing edge to his voice. Evelyn barely looked up ,her mind elsewhere.

“ I’m fine , thanks “

“ oh really ? “

He smirked , a teasing smile on his face.

“ i just thought you might want to know where your husband has been spending his time with …… my wife and his …… his ex wife “

Evelyn’s head snapped up , anger flashing in her eyes.

“ what are you talking about ? “

Lucian shrugged his shoulder , his tone casual but his eyes sharp.

“ I mean , if you really want to see for yourself. I can take you to him “
