MARINA

I ended up having a lot of fun with Jason. We went around and played games at the little booths set up by his fraternity brothers. He made me laugh a lot which I very much needed with all the things that were going on with my life.

At the end of the day, he insisted on driving me home, so I agreed. I told him to park two blocks away from my house because I didn’t want my mom to know I was on a date with someone.

“Thank you for inviting me to this thing and driving me home. I had fun,” I said and offered him a smile.

He smiled back. “It’s my pleasure. I hope this isn’t the last time we get to hang out.”

I shook my head. I would like to see him again too. I spent all day with him, yet he was never too forward or aggressive. He didn’t even try to kiss me yet. “I want to see you again too,” I said quietly.
