Chapter Fourteen

JANES’ POV

Her mind seems to be drifting to her poor brother in the hospital. She has yet to see him since the last time she visited him.

Her earlier fear was suddenly getting magnified. If Ben found out about her pregnancy, he would divorce her and her chance of selling her shares to him wouldn't be possible.

She mutters silent prayer, her eyes slowly meeting with madam Joan's concerned look.

“Madam, what's the problem? You look worried.” She asked.

“When will the young master leave the house?” I had asked with the hope of leaving for the hospital where Liam, my brother , is kept.

Madam Joan looked at the direction of the door before answering “He will be living in the next few minutes, his driver is here already”

She felt relieved. His absence would make it easier for her to leave the mansion.

“Can I trust you to cover up for me in my absence?”

“I will cover for you, young madam”
