WILLIAMS POV

He couldn't believe the extent she was going to divorce him.

Did she really hate him that much?

Well, he didn't care. She could hate him for all he cares, he would never sign the divorce papers not even if her life depended on it.

A knock on the door and he was thrown off his reverie.

Sir, your mother is here. She's waiting downstairs”

Why does his mom always act like a stranger each time she visits her own house?

In the living room, she caught sight of him descending the stairs and grinned widely.

“Hello Son! You don't look bright at all. Is your wife not taking care of you like she ought? I can arrange for….”

“Mom, I'm okay. Thanks for asking” suddenly cutting her off.

He was not a child, plus they had so many maid's in the mansion and she clearly knows that, but she couldn't help but enquire about him.
