38. She didn't want to go back

She had taken the medicine along with a glass of water and was now back to closing her eyes in a comfortable position under the thick blanket. Dave sat by her bedside for almost three hours in case she woke up and needed anything.

She woke up in five minutes to take the medication, but ever since the maid gave her medicine and warmer clothes, she hasn't stopped sleeping.

Dave put the book he was reading back on the shelf and got up from his chair. He got up from her bedside and walked to the terrace. It was getting late in the day, and he could see the coastline getting more and more crowded with visitors.

took out his cell phone from his pocket and immediately called Daniel. It wasn't long before his voice rang out,

"How is Eudora?"

Since last night, Dave was worried about her, so he asked right away. He hadn't spoken to her since yesterday. He knew he needed to at least comfort her because what Alpha Silas did must have truly embarrassed her.
