Chapter 23

Hazel’s POV

It seemed like throughout the time school was in section, it was like I had seen Jasper just once, the rest of the time, he wasn’t in class and it was obvious that he’d missed class because of me.

Hiding something this important from Jasper was not my intention, Logan had forced me to do it. I knew he’d be out on the roof top, it was there he came to get his head calmed all the time.

With everything suddenly happening in my life I didn’t know what or how to act, because one moment I’m normal and the next moment I’m seeing myself on my bed feeling faint and feeling like I would give up any moment.

There he was leaning on the wall of the rooftop.

“Jasper.” I called and watched him turn to me. He rolled his eyes and shook his head, grabbed his bag and tried to walk out but I stopped him.

“Why are you avoiding me, Jasper?” As I asked he still tried to walk out of my presence.
