Chapter 60

Jasper's POV

I looked up at Logan. I felt my blood boiling on the surface. I clenched my fist tight. I wanted to hit him so hard in the face and make him pay in blood for what he said. I looked over his shoulder and saw the worry on Hazel's face. She could have hit Cassie but she chose to hold back.

I sighed angrily and relaxed my hand.

"Well, I guess you really are weak."

I saw the snicker on Logan's face grow and Hazel relaxed and continued to plead with me with her eyes. Logan was a bastard but I had to respect Hazel. I owed her that as a friend. She had made her choice; there was no use fighting anymore.

I turned my back to Logan and headed to the door and in a few seconds, I had left.

I got outside and squinted my eyes. The sun was glaring amongst the trees. I felt angry and frustrated and I just wanted to go home. I walked silently down the street and took a left. My head was filled with thoughts. What was going on?
