Ryder's POV

I stared at the mark and my heart began to beat wildly. It had been years since I saw that mark. I stepped away from her and watched her with intrigue. However, something was off about her.

She sat in the corner, hiding her breasts with her palms but her eyes were fixed on me with a bloodlust I had never seen.

"Lorena?"

She ignored me and stood up. Her hands were now at her sides; she no longer had interest in covering her bare chest. She stood before me in nothing but her shorts.
