Chapter thirty eight

Collin's POV

Since I had no bicycle or car to ride. I did the ninja style run through the streets to get to the park. Luckily, I can really run around as fast as flash could go. Probably not like flash but averagely like flash whatever that means. I almost threw an excited punch in the air when I realized that I arrived early before Ashley.

The last thing I want is to look unreliable by keeping her waiting. I was short of breath when I sat on the stone chair made for seating in the park. I felt a cold bottle of water caress my cheek.

"Did you run all the way here?" Ashley asked as she handed the water to me.

I swallowed the whole bottle content before responding to her. "Thank you so much." I said gasping for breath.

Shaking her head, Ashley sat next to me. "why in the world did you run here when you could have taken a taxi or something."

I shrugged meaning into the chair as I threw my head back. "That would have been a waste of money. The park is the closest to my house aside school
