Chapter thirty nine

Alessia's POV

I stared at the phone as Collin message came in, smacking my lips as I turned my head to the other side. To think the message from was doing a good job at melting my heart, when all I intend to do is get angry and not listen to him.

I had felt so embarrassed and wished for the ground to swallow me when he had refused my advances. His conclusion that I was drunk made it worse for me. What do men want? I thought it was ideal and some ground for them when a lady makes the first move. However, reverse is Collin's case. But then, he must have come to his senses to have sent me a voicemail.

Sighing, I leaned further into my bed drawing the covers closer to my neck. A giggle escaped my lips as his message repeated itself in my head. Was this how it really feels to be in love?
