Picnic date

Alessandro’s POV

“Mummy, hurry,” Liam yelled. “Daddy is here!”

Chuckling, I hugged Leo and him then pressed kisses to their foreheads.

They both darted me affectionate looks as I placed them on the floor.

“How are you, sweeties?” I asked. “Where's mummy?”

“We are fine,” Leo responded. “Mummy is upstairs dressing up. We have a new Miss in our class, I kind of like her because she doesn't force me to do arithmetic.”

I smiled, recalling how Leo hated Mathematics and anything related to it, to a fault unlike his twin who loved it.

Thankfully, he made up for it by being a genius painter.

For his age, he was very talented and I couldn't be prouder of him.

“Is that so?” I asked. “What is her name?”

“Miss Sofia,” Liam responded. “She is very tall and she's kind.”

“That's good to hear,” I supplied, ruffling their hair.

Just then, Catherine walked down the stairs looking gorgeous as always in a pair of straight leg jeans and a white tee with a pink, flowery jumper.

Her shoulder bob had grown
