BETTY’S POV

“Would you be my Luna, please?” I repeated Ace's words in my mind.

He had suddenly returned from the laboratory where another test was run. His sudden proposal was a shock. I was dumbfounded and unable to speak for a long time.

“The result came out positive,” he said.

My eyes glowed with happiness. Even though I never doubted Maxwell’s paternity. I just wanted Ace to be sure, also. He was obviously happy.

“I donated my blood to him already. The doctor said he is a very strong boy to survive this long and assured me he would be fine.”

I didn’t know why Ace was telling me all of this, but it somehow calmed my worried nerves.

“Thank you.” I whispered.

“Thank you, Betty. You gave me an heir regardless of how I treated you. I want to honor you and make me the happiest man on earth by accepting to be my Luna.” he said again.

Ace was really proposing to me. I never thought a day like this would come.
