ACE’S POV

The packed house was in confusion. Betty had gone into labor for six hours now, and no news from the doctors yet. Her screams filled the house. She insisted on staying at home instead of the hospital. I panicked as I heard her scream again. Max was running around the house playfully, not having any worry.

He had grown into a fine young lad. Stubborn, cheerful, and intelligent. The past year with them, my family has been blessed. Betty got pregnant two months after marriage, and we were expecting a baby girl. The pack progressed speedily under her reign as Luna. She had brought her clothing line to Viking Hills, and it provided job opportunities for millions of people.

The pack was thriving, and I have never felt more glad. Glad to have a family and a pack that I love.

“Ace. Calm down,” Luke tried to make me stop pacing the living room.

“How can I? She has been screaming like this for the past six hours,” I said.

“She is in good hands. I would check again.”
