CHAPTER 28

Drake’s POV

Cynthia kissed me as soon as we came out of the room. I was surprised, but I played along to whatever she was doing.

After the surprised kissing, I looked at Betty. She looked equally surprised.

“Good morning, Betty,” I greeted.

“How was your night?” She asked.

“Pretty cool. Thank you again for letting us stay,” I replied. Cynthia walked to my side and held my hand.

She greeted Betty. She was out for work, and I told her that since the storm was not over yet, we were going out shopping. She said her goodbyes and left.

The shopping was pretty quick. We picked a few clothes and shoes. We finished earlier than I thought, so I decided to talk a tour around the pack. New infrastructures and companies had been established. The pack looked neat, big, and thriving. I felt jealous. It was way bigger and better than my pack. Over the years, my pack had a decline in latex production, its main source of income. So, revenue generation and growth as been tough. I sighed. Cynthia place
