Lorie's pov

I must be out of my mind.

Why did I hug him?

Perhaps because he had looked so lonely he could use a hug.

Worse of all I giggled.

Arrgg why did I hug my boss?

We had become a bit closer than before since our return from Dubai, but that didn't change the fact that he was my boss and I might get into trouble for being intimate with him.

I retrieved the call.

‘You can let him up, Miss Cynthia.’

‘alright. You can go up now.’ She said to Henry.

I hung up.

I sat down arranging the files on my desk not wanting to pay any attention to Henry when he came up.

‘nice to meet you again Miss.’ His voice was just as I remembered ‘boyish.’

‘welcome Mr Kingston.’ I replied after trying to pretend that he didn’t exist.

‘don't act all cold and distant. The last time I checked we danced.’ He gave me his boyish grin showing off his dimples.

‘last time I check it didn't end well. Moreover my job is being threatened I wonder who's responsible.’ I returned his smile, giving a very fake smile sh
