Chapter 7 - Birthday Bash

Claire's POV

"Good morning baby."

"Mom, I just said yesterday don't call me 'baby'.

I just got up from my bed. Today is Sunday and also my 16th birthday. I go straight to the kitchen to drink some water from the fridge.

"Oh our baby girl here is almost a lady now." She kissed me in my forehead.

She call my older brother to come in the kitchen. "Good morning Carlo."

"Good morning Mom."

"And Happy Birthday to our baby right here." He open his arms ready to embrace me.

I hug him tight too. "Do you have any wishes today sister?" he asked while caressing my hair.

"Hmm. Maybe a necklace? or a wrist watch?"

"Okay. A wrist watch will be suited on you. You don't have one yet."

"Yey! Thank you so much in advance Kuya," I hugged him back again.

"Oh well. I prepare breakfast to you guys," mom said while preparing the plates in the table.

"I will help you mom. I'm gonna get spoons and forks for us."

"Thank you dear."
