Out of impulse, I immediately crumpled the paper into a ball. I fell back on my seat in surprise when Alexander suddenly lunged at me and tried to grab the paper away. This guy was probably the only person I met who lacked the practice of self-control. Just because he wanted something, he would go about and take it without even considering the feelings of others.

“What did you write?” he asked as he grabbed my wrists and pulled me towards him, still trying to get it.

“Nothing,” I replied briefly. I brought my hands behind my back so he would not dare get ahold of it.
