My mind raced with endless questions and doubts, unable to process the reality of his return. How could he be alive after all these years? And why now? Why was he back to claim what he had lost?

The mere thought of his return, to once again wreak havoc, made my blood boil with rage. My hands clenched into fists, nails digging into my palms, as a wave of anger washed over me.

"What do you mean, he's back?" I snapped, my voice cold and harsh. "Klaus is dead. He's been dead for years now.” I said, trying to argue.

Luke shook his head, a pained expression on his face. “No, he’s not dead. He survived. He’s been in hiding, biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. That moment has come. He’s taken Alana and the children hostage.”
