I knew it was just a facade, a show to entertain the public. However, even for a brief moment, I let it sink in; I allowed myself to dream, to be delusional that Kylo and I were not just in a profit-oriented relationship.

While softly opening the car door for me, Kylo kept his hand on mine, it felt like electricity.

We walked to the entrance of the Cassian Group building and a multitude of curious stares followed us.

It was as if everyone around me held their breath waiting to catch the slightest hint of information.
