"This isn't even an appreciable improvement," Fred mocked Killan as he examined me, checking my reflexes.

"Vera Clams, can you hear me? Fred asked but I remained rigid and didn't move. Although I still couldn't move or speak, I could hear. I didn't react in any way, the extent of my improvement was my little secret.

"You know what? I am gonna have to spank you when all this is over! You are such a pain in the ass… I've always said it," Fred said amusingly and shone a touch in my eyes. That was the most difficult part. I couldn't hold the urge to blink. I blinked in response and Killan, who had been studying me keenly beside Fred yelled.

"Did you see it? That was what I saw!" He exclaimed but Fred scoffed. "Common, that was just a reflex, she can't move and she can't even see us yet… Stop exaggerating it."

"Anyways, we are progressing… I am glad that she is improving, I had thought we had lost her," Fred said.
