Chapter Fifteen

I sat on the blanket helping the children for around an hour, a smile being placed on my lips even though I wanted to scream in pain. I have never felt this amount of pain in all my life, I worried there was something seriously wrong with me, but I couldn’t allow myself to be consumed with that idea. The children had already been through a traumatic experience last night, I don’t want to add more fuel to the fire if I just begin to scream at the top of my lungs.

My entire body felt as though it was on fire, but when I would take a look down at my skin, it seemed perfectly normal. Is my theory about sunburn, correct? I begin to sweat heaps so much so I worried I would leave a puddle under me once I was finished here. I even attempted to drink a ton of water to help me, but still the pain only increased and didn’t show signs of stopping.
