Rachel’s POV

Luna came into my room after dinner.

“Rachel, do you want to go to bed now?” She asked.

“No, I am not feeling sleepy yet.” I answered, and she sat on my bed with me.

“How are you doing, hope you are okay?” She questioned.

Yes, of course I am good now.” I replied.

“Alright then, we will go shopping tomorrow for my party coming soon; I need to get dresses for myself, and you need dresses for yourself too, and besides that, the Alpha will be back tomorrow. A lot has happened in his absence.” Luna explained.

I knew we would go shopping before her birthday. But before she stepped in, my mind went back to the time we were all at the pack bridge, and the way Travis was lit up with fire got me so scared I couldn’t watch him burn anymore. Luna and I left the place immediately.

“Rachel, I don’t want you to think too much of everything that has happened, don’t always take your mind there, okay? Do things that will make you forget those things in the past.” Luna advised.
