Rachel’s POV

We were done with the shopping and went back home. It was late in the evening, and the Alpha was back. We all sat at the dining table, having dinner; everyone was present.

We are done with dinner now, but we have to wait to see if the Alpha has anything to say to us before leaving.

“Rachel.” The Alpha called my name, and I gasped. I wasn’t expecting to be called so suddenly.

“I heard what happened to you; I hope you are fine now. He asked as he faced up to look at me.

“Yes, I am very fine now. I answered; his voice was so commanding, and he is used to talking like this.

“I hope it is not bothering you too much. He asked, and then he faced his food to eat.

“No, I am finally getting out of that. I replied immediately.

He asked a few more questions, which I answered. He also asked David if his injured fist was getting better and praised him and Scott for what they did.
