As I stood there watching her get wiped, a series of emotions that I found difficult to explain kept running through my mind, but I still stood there, not giving any reaction; instead, I had a blank expression on my face.

There was a large crowd gathered in the pack's square since the news had spread all over and all of the pack members had come to witness the event.

After some time, I heard murmuring from the pack members who were closer to Matilda. At first, I dismissed it as the usual murmuring from a crowd when something was going on.
