MOSES'S POV

Luxian offered me a chair when he saw me leaning on the wall, like I was having difficulty standing.

I could not stop blaming myself for what had happened as I sat there scratching my head in regret. What had I done?

Even Bax kept blaming me for what I had done.

Eva walked in a few minutes later and sat close to Matilda, who was still sleeping. She had a worried look on her face.

Kelvin walked in much later too; he still looked confused about everything that had happened, especially seeing Matilda lying on the hospital bed. He kept staring at her with wide eyes, then he would steal a glance at me occasionally and quickly look away when I looked at him.

I thought of asking Eva what happened since I remembered last night that Matilda had said she would return to the chamber with her.
