MOSES'S POV

"I believe you don't eat with your eyes, do you?" I asked as I watched her sitting there and staring at her food instead of eating.

She looked up at me with the same fright that she had had in her eyes all night.

I was not even acting scary, and she was already scared. What on earth would I do with this girl?

Despite my reminder, she still sat there staring at me like I had spoken a foreign language that she had not been taught how to speak.

"Eat up," I said again, this time in the nicest voice I could muster.
