Diana's POV

Clarissa was mildly surprised at Ryan’s request to dance with the person who donated the jade bracelet. Perhaps she was thinking that Ryan was so captivated by the jewelry and wanted to thank the person by offering to dance with her.

But, I know for a fact that Ryan does not only know who owned the bracelet, he was also the one who actually gave it to me.

The last thing I want is to dance with him! I nervously looked at Clarissa and prayed that she would refuse Ryan.

Clarissa’s gaze went my way for a second. It might just be my imagination but I could swear she mouthed ‘I’m sorry’ to me before smiling mischievously at Ryan.

“That can be arranged, Mr. Collins. That is, if you manage to win this last auctioned piece.”

Napangiti si Ryan na puno ng kumpyansa. Kung pera lang ang usapan, may tatalo ba sa kanya sa Dumaran? Sumandal ito sa upuan nya at sumenyas na ipagpatuloy na ang naudlot na auction dahil sa anunsyo niya.

Nakuha naman agad ni Clarissa ang ibig ipahiwatig ni Ryan
