The room was quiet and nerves were calmed. Charles was yet to give a piece of in-depth information about who was dead. He did not know how to let it out considering how his father felt about Fiona.

But Chris pinched him and whispered into his ears to boldly tell his parents. Charles heeded his friend’s words and blurted it out. “It was in the news,” Charles said.

“What was in the news?” His mother asked. “Did you guys not hear the news about the fire outbreak at the Golden Moon nightclub?” he asked.

“Well. I did, but what does it matter?” Eddy asked. “I was there last night, father. And all that happened immediately we left,” he said and pointed to Chris and Albert to indicate that they were with him.

“But you came out unhurt and that is good news. Besides, I did not know that you were there. And although it wouldn't hurt to know your whereabouts, you are a big boy to decide what to tell me and what not. But the most important thing is that you and your friends escaped that night and
