"On behalf of our flight deck crew and the rest of the team. We thank you for choosing SkyAsia, your airline of choice. Have a great day!"

I stood on the side and smiled at every passenger getting off the plane. From time to time I help when I see someone struggling with their luggage.

"Do you have a flight tomorrow?" Claire asked me, one of the flight attendants who is my friend.

"Nope. This is my last flight for this week. I can finally rest now," I answered.

I dragged my small suitcase as we went out. Our feet almost made a noise on the floor because of our heels. I feel pain in my feet because I am wearing new shoes. It came from Ma'am Cindy and she gave it to me when I had my birthday last week.

"I'm so jealous because it's good that you can rest now. I still have a flight tomorrow to Singapore," Claire complained.

Our flight was Manila to Singapore and when we arrived in Singapore we took a flight to Los Angeles. It was the same on our way back, so I'm very tired now and I still haven't adjusted to my jetlag.

"Do you want to rest? I can take your flight and you can rest tomorrow," I jokingly told her.

"Oh! No. I need more money now," she replied then laughed a little.

I also laughed and nodded at her because we all need money.

"Rein wants to eat. Let's eat first!" Claire invited me.

I turned around to see where Rein was with the other cabin crew. I looked back at Claire then shook my head at her.

"I can't go with you, guys. I need to go home," I said.

I could see the disappointment on Claire's face before she spoke again.

"Are you sure? Even for a moment. It's on me," she said.

I shook my head and smiled modestly then I removed the scarf from my neck because I was feel hot. The weather in the Philippines is very different compared to other countries because it is very hot here.

"I didn't see Agatha for three days, Claire. I miss her already," I told her.

Claire didn't force me anymore because they knew my situation. We took the service back to the airline's headquarters. After getting off, I immediately went outside because the uber that I was booked earlier was waiting. I took off the coat I was wearing because my sweat was almost dripping from the extremely hot weather.

"Grandma's Kitchen," I said to the uber driver

Grandma's Kitchen is a popular restaurant in our town. I worked there for five years and the owner was the one who sent me to college. It's a big help for me because I wouldn't have become a full-fledged flight attendant if I hadn't continued my studies in college.

"Thank you," I said to the uber.

Today I have two suitcases with me because I shopped for gifts and other things. I didn't even get close to the restaurant and had to cross the road. There weren't many cars passing there so I crossed right away, only to suddenly have a car appear in front of me.

"F*ck!" I almost cursed.

I was almost hit by that car and I was very surprised because of that. I almost fell because I thought it was going to knock me over. I couldn't see who was inside the car because the glass was tinted. I remained standing there even though I was feeling hot because I was waiting for the driver to get off so he could apologize to me.

I was surprised again when it honked loudly. At the same time, the car window opened and a man in shades peeked out.

"What? Are you just going to stand there and not leave, pretty girl?" said the man arrogantly.

What did he just say?! He's the one who almost bumped into me and then he's the one who brags about me? It's not because he's in a car does it mean I'll miss what he did.

"Move, pretty girl!" he added.

I was so annoyed that I picked up my small suitcase then I slammed it down in front of the car. I don't give a da*m if I scratch that beautiful and expensive car!

"Aren't you going to apologize first? You almost hit me!" I said with an annoyed voice.

The man in the car is handsome and when you look at him you can see that he is rich. It is true that he is handsome and rich but he has a bad attitude.

"Hey! Hey! What are you doing?" he asked in shock.

He even looked at my suitcase as if he couldn't believe that I just put a suitcase on top of his expensive car.

"Are you crazy?" he asked me more.

I smirked and raised an eyebrow at him. I'm so tired right now from work and I'm going to meet this kind of person again. Why do I always get close to arrogant people?! I feel like I'm cursed!

"I'm not leaving here until you apologize!" I said angrily.

He laughed sarcastically, making me even more annoyed.

"Why would I do that? Even if you're beautiful, I wouldn't do that. So, you better get off," he answered me.

My eyes widened because he was so rude so I approached the door of the car to open it but immediately a door on the other side opened and a one man came out.

I stopped and looked at the man who got out of the car. He was wearing a white long sleeve and black pants. Just like a man earlier he was also wearing shade. He has a pointed nose and his skin is brown in color. I can also clearly see its perfect jawline and red lips. I almost gasped when he removed his shades and I saw his blue eyes. I admit that he's more handsome than an arrogant guy I'm with.

"I'll be the one to apologize for my friend, Miss. I'm sorry for what happened. We didn't mean it," he told me.

His voice was soft when he spoke and even though I still wanted to get angry, I just forced myself to calm down.

"Dude! What are you doing?" asked the arrogant man.

"Why don't you talk to your friend to apologize to me?" I asked.

I saw the slight surprise on his face when I said that, which is why I raised my eyebrows again.

"No, way. I'm not gonna do that," the man replied.

"Damian, please. Just say sorry to her so we can leave," asked the kind man in front of me.

"Fine! I'm sorry, pretty girl. Even you're just over reacting," he said to me.

"Damian, stop."

His name is Damian. The name alone is rich, but it doesn't suit him because he has a bad attitude. I wanted to prolong the argument there but I remembered that someone was waiting for me so I took a deep breath to let it happen.

I took the suitcase that I put on the car and the man immediately came to help me but I stopped him.

"I don't need your help." I said flatly then I completely left there.

I walked to the restuarant in a bad mood. There are no real sane men these days! As the years go by, men think more highly of themselves.

"Kalilah! You're finally here!" Aunt Cindy greeted me.

I went behind and found Aunt Cindy there. They are busy preparing food because there are many customers in the restaurant now.

"Yes, Aunt. Where are they?" I asked.

"Oh! They just came inside. Go there and she's been looking for you for a while," Aunt Cindy answered me.

I smiled and nodded to her before leaving to go to their house. It's just behind the restaurant so it didn't take me long to get there. When I entered Aunt Cindy's big house, I met Eunice in the living room. They turned to me at the same time so I smiled.

"Mommy!"

I sat down immediately and opened my arms wide to welcome the hug of my daughter Agatha. She's five years old now and we're very similar.

"I missed you, my love!" I said.

She hugged me so all my tiredness seemed to disappear into a bubble. This is my favorite part when I come home from a flight. Being able to hug and be with my daughter is so relaxing. I am also very grateful to Eunice because whenever I am away, she takes care of Agatha. Eunice has been my best friend since college and I consider her a sister because we don't have the same parents.

Being single Mom is not easy, but I can handle it just so I can give Agatha a good life because I don't want her to grow up feeling like she's missing something even though she doesn't have a father.

I just played with Agatha during those hours until she fell asleep for an afternoon nap. I took advantage of that opportunity to help out at the restaurant. In exchange for Aunt Cindy, I work at her restaurant when I don't have a flight and I don't even take what she pays me.

"What are you doing here, Kali? You should get some rest. You just got home from a long flight. You might get sick," Aunt Cindy told me.

I smiled and shook my head because I was fine. I have rested a while ago and there are really many customers today so I want to help.

"Just let me, Aunt. I've rested a while ago. I want to help here," I replied.

She was so busy that she didn't argue with me anymore and just let me help there. I looked at the dining room and saw many customers eating there. My eyes widened when I saw the two men I had encountered earlier outside. I looked at their table number and saw that they were just looking at the menu.

"I'm gonna take charge at table number twenty one," I said to a waiter there.

I just let it go a while ago but I still can't forget what happened outside. I took a deep breath before leaving the kitchen and approaching their table. They both looked up at me when I stood on the edge of their table. I smiled at them like I often do with the other customers there.

"Can I take your order now, Sir?" I asked smiling.

"Oh! The pretty girl?" said Damian.

"Yes, it's me arrogant boy. I mean, Sir," I answered.

He laughed and I looked at the man with him who was silent. Damian whispered something there but I didn't hear what it was. Silent boy just shook his head and looked up at me to speak.

"Two slices of pepperoni pizza, chicken tenders and fries, two cheese burgers, and one vegetable salad," he told me.

I nodded while listing their orders. I looked at them because they might add something to the order.

"How about drinks, Sir?" I asked.

"Oh! Two mango shakes," he added.

"Alright, Sir!" I said.

I smiled and was about to leave, but the silent boy spoke again, making me stop.

"I forgot to say. Don't put some spices in foods. He is allergic to spicy," he instructed me.

I nodded and left there to enter the kitchen and tell them their orders.

"Put some spices, and can you serve it for me because I will take orders from another table. Thanks," I said to Annie.

I just smirked because that's the only way I can get revenge. He is allergic to spicy so he should be ready for his karma.
