28. A trip with George

Flying was my new favorite thing.

Well, we hadn’t taken off yet but I was simply in love with the first-class seats George had made me book. It was even more luxurious than it looked in pictures. On this part of the plane, each compartment had two seats and was very private.

George and I were already seated and I couldn’t stop looking around.

“Have you traveled before?”

“Not much and I’ve definitely not flown first class.” We were so different. While I was in awe, he was something he was used to and I was certain he had never flown anything less than first class. I was even surprised he didn’t have a private jet or something.

George chuckled, but it didn’t last long. “So what’s the itinerary for the trip?”

I looked over at him with a frown. “You haven’t told me. You said we were taking a rest for the first two days so I don’t need to worry about that.”

“Oh.” He nodded. “Well, call Mr. Harper and check when will be the best time to meet with him for the meeting.” It
