George and I were matching.

Well, everyone currently in the hall was matching but I was merely focusing on the person I knew. We were both putting on white since it was an all-white party. It was the first time I was seeing George in a white suit and it was safe to say that he looked good in every color.

We made our way to our designated seat. I felt a flutter in my stomach as I sat down next to George, feeling his eyes on me. I was a little bit nervous to be out with him in public, especially after what we did the last time.

The table we were assigned to had two other couples seated already. They were quite chatty while George and I kept silent.

Just to be polite, we both waved to the couples who sat opposite and beside us, and they returned our greetings with a wide smile. Well, I waved while George nodded at them:
