It was almost time to go home.

I hated that our trip was coming to an end and we would be leaving in two days. It meant we would be back to facing reality in New York. For the two weeks George and I had been here, it had been very fun acting like we were really a couple. There was barely any business talk.

The day before, we had gone shopping together since I promised to get something for Olivia. While I was there, I also got something for my mom, Maya, and secretly for George. I planned to put it in his suitcase before we left.
