Ch41 - Excuses

Mariane almost squinted when she and David stared at each other. She felt her cheek heat up, a sign that it was red. Mariane immediately looked away.

“Looks like you are blushing,” David teased as he leaned closer to her.

Mariane closed her eyes as she was anticipating that David would kiss her anytime, but because of her reaction, David found it amusing.
