Chapter Forty one

Trevor's pov

I was a whirlwind of emotion and exhausting but I let none of it show as we continued to run through the night till dawn.

"We should find a water source, rest and refuel" I said to the others through the link and they agreed. All except Uncle Mika.

"No, we keep going" he said, a little too aggressive, making Drew stand at attention at the obvious disrespect. He'd been barking orders at us all night long and would rush us every time we took a moment too long to catch our breaths.

We'd put up with it all night and I had to calm Drew a lot more times than I'd like and to an extent, I understood, it's his daughter we were out here looking for but she was my mate and I'm the Alpha here.

"We've been running all night, we all need rest! We're useless if the person following us decides to attack and we can't even defend ourselves!" I growled, letting my Alpha aura out so he would submit.

"We don't know who it is or what they're capable of, all we know is that it's not a rogue.
