Despite a rough morning, today was not all bad. My spirits were back up. I wasn't back on my high horse but cruising on my feet. I pushed Alex's apartment door open. Though his previous curse had seemed like he was behind the door all this time, he wasn't. In fact, the studio-looking apartment was void of him. I was happy Monday came around. It was the day the twins were supposed to arrive. I had Ciara's class at eleven in the morning and someone had to stay with Alex. He was still in the room. He didn't allow the mermaid or Shelly to visit him. I was the only one who he let in the room. He kept silent most of the time.
