Jade’s pov

Covering my mouth at seeing the king lying on a large bed shirtless with a bruised face I reluctantly glanced at Monica when she began to speak.

“Son, this young female Lycan is named Jade and is going to be your caretaker until you get better while Lawrence and I deal with the pack and your throne,” she asserted and my eyes widened at her in bewilderment.

“I will have to bathe him and such,” I whispered harshly. Giving me a knowing grin she nodded telling me of course.

“I will see him naked,” I blurted, causing her to shrug and chuckle.

My Lycan was howling in excitement while my cheeks burned.
