Never noticed!

Sometimes, she was able to push those thoughts aside for a while, knowing that they belonged in another lifetime. Other times, they returned with full force. But most of the time, she couldn't ignore them.

She didn't know whether she could ever erase those memories, or how much of a burden they would weigh upon her. She couldn't decide if the pain was worth it. She couldn't decide if it would be worth losing him.

Suddenly, a loud knock against the front door interrupted her thoughts. Her heart instantly skipped a beat as she hurried to open the door.

She hoped that it wasn't who she thought it was. When she opened the door to reveal Julian standing in front of her, she let out a breath of relief when she realized that it wasn't who she was expecting. But the disappointment quickly followed.

"Hey, sorry I'm late." He said, stepping into the house.

"It's okay. I was just about to go up for a shower anyway. What are you doing here?" She asked, leaning up against the doorway as he walke
