Perfect girl!

"About what?" She asked him curiously.

"I'm listening." She assured him, smiling brightly. She hoped she hadn't misjudged the whole situation. Of course he loved her, and she loved him. That was obvious. She couldn't have doubted that.

"So uh.. Remember that girl that I liked back in college?" He suddenly blurted out. He bit his lip nervously, watching her expectantly. He knew that this was going to be difficult for him to say.

After all, he was very good at hiding his true feelings and lying. But it wasn't like she knew. She wouldn't know what real love was until later on in life anyway. She deserved to hear it from him. He owed it to her to tell her.

"I think she likes me."

"Really?" She smiled widely at him, hoping that this was actually true.

"Does that mean?"

"We should talk about it sometime." He finished for her, a small grin forming on his face as his cheeks turned a bright shade of pink.
