Lilliana’s POV

The souls of water running jolted me awake as I turned on the bed, my eyes opened and was immediately drawn to the table in front of me.

The room was filled with the delicious aroma of the tasty food I was staring at, my stomach growled and it was at that moment I remembered I didn’t eat anything before going to bed last night.

Sighing, I groaned as I tried to get out of bed and the sound of the bathroom water running came again.

I didn’t need a soothsayer to tell me that Nikolai was in there and he was also the one that prepared the table with the delicious meals.

A smile tugged at the side of my lips as my mind drifted to the past when I’d spend the night in the master bedroom with him and in the morning we’d have our showers together.

Things seemed perfect then, it felt like nothing could go wrong until everything went wrong and a really big part of me wanted those times back.
