Sorah’s POV.-My head hurts. Did I bang it against somewhere? The pain is thumping like a pulse from the crown of my head and seeping into every nook of my mind as I twist my lips to expel a wince. Ugh, I can’t make it subside. With my eyes shut tightly, I begin to squirm and feel my bare back work over thick fabric.Am I on a bed? I pause while contending the headache at bay to feel my hands so I can confirm. But I find them above my head and against a cushion as they seem to be bound together at the wrists.Startling fear brings my eyes open wide and I jolt with a gasp to see two figures standing at the end of the bed and staring at me. Sorah’s POV-Erza is here?But why will she come here? That’s one person in my family who’s barely shown any awareness of my existence and rather holds indifference towards me. She wasn’t even at my wedding and neither did I get to see her even after that until this day.“She’s on her way up here. The moment I saw her, I ran here to inform you.”Mei goes further to tell pensively, and as she makes to speak further, we both stiffen suddenly and look towards the door. They say it’s those with supernatural gifts that are capable of perceiving the auras people emit. But when it comes to the Pride of the Strauneuff family, even an infant can perceive the overwhelming and esteeming aura she wields.“Mei,” I give her a call to signal her to get in order while I seat properly as we watch the door come open. In tentative steps, the person outside the door walks in, as if unsure if this is the right place they were directed to. “Hello? Sorah…”Her voice tapers off and our eyes meet.

Sorah’s POV.-“Come hither, oh sacred Healer of the forgotten myth.”No response. Sorah's POV.-Diana meets my twitching glare with an air of triumph as her face morphs into a dark grin, mocking my helpless state before she starts to walk toward us.The look on her face irks me as I angrily shake my body to loosen Devon's solid grip on my upper arms. His grip refuses to budge and I want to try harder in my tension to go over to Mei who's laying unconscious across from where I am.As Diana makes a few steps of approach, smugly lifting her right ankle-booted foot, in a shocking moment, the exit doors are flying off their hinges and blasting inwards with an explosive BOOM!Diana screams as the brutal impact slams into her back, kicking her off her feet and sending her flying and crashing onto the floor with a clatter.W-what the...surprise roots me in my spot as a cloud of sawdust consumes the entire space around where the doors should've been and also the spot Diana had been sashaying just now. You're in no condition to keep insisting to go along with me" Mei lifts a glass cup of water and brings it carefully to my lips as she dissuades my actions."I can handle the chore just fine myself".When she says it like that, I can't try to win through stubbornness at all. I give in with a nod and a timid promise as my eyes float over the translucent liquid."I'm sorry, Mei. I'll do as you say.""Tch, what drama are you weaklings up to?" The arrogant snort of the Vampire interrupts us and I look away to find him occupying the door space with a stern frown."It's not time to settle in and get cozy. Scrawny midget, get your Lady ready. He goes on to disgruntle, making Mei fume with protest while I manage a sigh and a smile.I calmly collect the glass from Mei as she erupts, settling it on my thighs as I watch them for a moment.
