Chapter Twenty-Eight.

Sorah's POV.

I sigh as I throw my head back to gaze at the ceiling of the car. “This ought to be goodbye, Andreas”.

“Did you miss me that much, Sorah?”

W-what? I jolt off the seat and bump the top of my head against the ceiling with a curt yelp of shock. I blink my eyes many times, yet it does nothing to alter the image of the individual sitting next to me by the other back door and staring at me with the crimsons from my beautiful nightmares.

Why is he here?

I break into a panic and frantically peer out the window to check if Mortiz and Diana are returning. When I don’t see them among the people moving about the front of the building, I breathe with relief and turn to the haughty Vampire making himself comfortable in the expensive leather seat.

I fume with my face scorching. “Y-you, how did you get here? Why have you come here?” I point a shaky index at him while keeping my back against the door at my side so I can alternate my gaze between outside and him.
