Chapter Twenty-Seven.

Sorah's POV.

“You really are a klutz, aren’t you?”

I snap my head to my right and see her shake her head at me while holding a hand out. With light movements of her fingers, my body reacts and straightens into a proper stance. My eyes are dreadfully open wide as she begins to walk closer to me.

Did she just use magic?

Reading my puzzlement, she grins playfully and affirms, “Yup, I’m a Sorcerer. Your guess is right”.

What? I rattle with shock, unable to believe it. It’s impossible, this shouldn’t be. I mean, Hunter Families never birth Sorcerers. What’s going on here? How’s she a Sorcerer?

As I felt earlier, there’s really something uncanny about her.

It’s a strict tradition we abide by without any ounce of defiance. When we choose between receiving supernatural endowments from the Demons and receiving physical combatant arts that enable us to become Hunters, we stick to our division throughout our bloodline and never convert to the other side.
