CHAPTER 30

After some minutes Cameron knew the way her sister had lived for all those years. It hadn’t been easy for her. It was clear that Camilla had to work in many places to survive in a world like this. It wasn’t necessary for Camilla to describe ever single job she had until she ended up being a dancer in a cabaret, and that was where the doors of a new life opened. There she discovered a better way to get more money. In a way, she started to like that new life, where she felt she had control over men. It was enough for her to move her hips as they liked to get some bills.

Cameron sighed countless times. She didn’t know what to say. Cameron knew her life had been difficult but at that moment, she felt such a stupid knowing the problems she’d gone through had been nothing in comparison of her sister’s.

The real problem was when she asked about the baby; whose baby was it? Camilla was speechless.
