Vulcan Empire
Author: A Little Lesser Today

Chapter 1

Centra's Somme City International Airport in Murica was heavily guarded.

"What big shot is coming that a hundred thousand troops are deployed to receive them?"

"I heard it's the head of Vulcan Empire."

"The legendary Vulcan? No wonder they made it so grand!"

The crowd watching from a distance got excited immediately.

To the public, Vulcan's status was on par with the leaders of powerful countries. Vulcan Empire was another name for the Vulcan Group, which was so powerful that it could influence the world's economy and politics. Hence, people dubbed it an empire.

Although Vulcan Empire had branches all over the globe, its headquarters' location remained unknown. The chairman of Vulcan Empire was especially mysterious—no one knew his real name, his looks, or his age. The only thing the world knew was his nickname—Vulcan.

At the airport, Supreme Four—Wardraco, Skywolfe, Scarletto, and Hawkden, watched the plane slowly descend with excitement. They were happy about Vulcan's return.

Vulcan was not only their savior but also the one who taught them unparalleled secret techniques, making the four of them quickly surpass the warriors of various nations and become legendary supreme warriors. Most importantly, Vulcan had selflessly made major contributions to the country over the past four years, becoming a true national treasure. It was why they were in awe of him. To them, Vulcan was the uncrowned king of warriors.

Once Dustin Summers disembarked the plane, he saw the Supreme Four and said with a smile, "Long time no see."

Supreme Four respectfully saluted. "Hello, Vulcan."

Dustin added, "You're all busy with your duties. You didn't need to pick me up."

Wardraco replied solemnly, "We respect you the most. Not coming to pick you up would make us feel uneasy."

After a pause, he continued, "During this time, Skywolfe Squad will be at your service 24/7."

Dustin said wryly, "Wardraco, I'm just here to reunite with my wife. There's no need for such a grand gesture. Please stop wasting national resources on me. Besides, there seems to be nothing in the world that I can't handle."

Wardraco smiled and replied, "Understood, but contact the four of us if anything happens. Otherwise, you're not considering us your friends."

Dustin laughed. "No problem."

Just then, a luxurious white sports car pulled up in front of Dustin. A handsome young man in his 30s stepped out of it and respectfully saluted Dustin. "Vulcan, I'm here to pick you up."

"Goodbye." Dustin waved to the Supreme Four and got into the back seat.

Mateo White drove as he asked, "Boss, are we heading directly to Oceania?"

"Go to Summers Residence and deliver a generous gift to Madam Summers first." Dustin then fell silent, gazing out of the car window at a distant human head-shaped cloud. A cold murderousness appeared in his eyes. "Lillian, it's time you pay your debt."

Lillian Jagger was Dustin's paternal grandmother. Dustin was originally the eldest son of the prestigious Summers family, one of the four top families in Somme City. His father, Aidan Summers, single-handedly created the Summers family's fortune. However, Aidan passed away 15 years ago due to exhaustion. Lillian and her illegitimate son, Franklin Summers, took the chance to usurp the Summers family. Since then, young Dustin's status in the family plummeted. He was not only stripped of his inheritance rights but was also expelled from the Summers family.

Lillian and Franklin were heartless and ungrateful. Lillian abandoned her family and had an affair with another man, giving birth to Franklin. However, after Aidan became successful, he forgave her and brought her back to the Summers family. He even nurtured his half-brother, Franklin. Despite this, the two ingrates coveted the Summers family's power instead of appreciating Aidan's kindness.

Although Dustin had no interest in the Summers family's power and wealth, it was still Aidan's blood, sweat, and tears, so Dustin was determined to reclaim it.

Lillian was leisurely sipping coffee in Summers Residence's backyard. She particularly loved coffee and would always brew a pot whenever she was in a good mood, regardless of the time or season. Lillian was now 65 years old, but her face had few wrinkles because she took great care of herself. She looked no older than 50 as she had little white hair.

A slender elderly man in his 50s sitting across from her took a sip of his coffee and said flatly, "Madam Summers, you're enjoying your coffee at this hour. It seems you're in a good mood on your 65th birthday."

"My good mood isn't because it's my birthday but because I discovered Dustin's whereabouts. I won't let him get away this time." Malice flickered in Lillian's eyes.

The elderly man, Xander Longstone, replied, "Madam Summers, Dustin's your grandson after all. Is it really necessary to go all out on him? Besides, he's no longer a threat to you."

Lillian replied coldly, "Xander, we must get rid of him to avoid possible problems. I won't give him any chance to turn the tables. He's the last bloodline of the Summers family. Only by eliminating him can we justifiably rename the family."

She paused before continuing with a sneer, "One must be ruthless to achieve great things. Besides, I've never considered him my grandson. I'm content with having a genius like Felix as my grandson."

"That loser, Dustin, is as incompetent as his deceased grandpa. It would only ruin the Summers family if he were to inherit it. Therefore, we must eliminate him for the Summers family's sake."

Xander complimented, "Haha. Madam Summers, you're formidable. If you were a man, you would have become an overlord long ago."

"Xander, you're too kind." Lillian smiled faintly. After taking a sip of her coffee, a rare gentleness flickered in her eyes as she added slowly, "My greatest pride is having an amazing grandson like Felix. He looks so much like his grandpa, almost as if they were carved from the same mold. Their character and talents are also similar. I believe Felix will make our family better. After getting rid of Dustin, I plan to have Felix and the others revert to their original surname and rename the Summers family to the Muller family."

"It seems you loved Fred Muller very much." Jealousy flickered in Xander's eyes.

Lillian said solemnly, "Indeed. Fred was the love of my life. I'm willing to sacrifice everything to fulfill his wishes."

"By the way, Madam Summers, did you hear that Vulcan came to Murica today?"

"I received news about it three days ago. I've already sent Felix to make the necessary arrangements so that we become friends with him. If we can collaborate with Vulcan, the Muller family will soon become the number one family in Murica."

Excitement gleamed in Lillian's eyes.
