Leading her in, Mason felt quite nervous. He didn't know if she'll like anything or not, but he still wanted to give this date, their first official date, a chance. For her. He felt like he was getting the pre-wedding jitters while walking down the aisle. Instantly, I missed the warmth of his body but didn't let it show. I was still trying to figure out my new feelings. "No." Startled by the third voice that spoke, we both turned our head towards the figure that came running towards us. Dylan.Worry and fear etched his face, and he was breathless by the time he reached us. The tone of his voice, the worry, and his untimely interruption indicates something big. Something that could either be a huge problem or lead to it. But whatever it was, it had shaken him up pretty badly. Watching him, I clenched my own jaw. 🍒Angela🍒 Mason came home the next evening with a grave mood. I was worried something happened while he was at work. Something was off with him, he was giving clipped off answers to my questions. Did he fight someone? Did someone hurt him? Ok, this sounded absurd because he was a strong, sturdy man himself and I bet he could fight five people at once. I felt sad when he just went to his room without saying anything. He wasn't usually like that. No matter what happened, at the end of the day, he would always give me a smile. He didn't even eat anything. I was worried and hurt by his behavior. Him ignoring me is not what bothered me, what bothered me was that he knew, he knew I had been waiting for him. I missed him. I want to know the reason, the cause of this behavior. If something is hurting him, I want him to share it with me. But right now, I felt so worthless. Like I was just a burden at him.
