Chapter 31
Suna“I’m hungry.” Clairmont was sitting on the ground, legs crossed, as he looked at me walking closer to him.“Huh?” I grimaced. “What do you want me to do about it?”Clairmont shrugged. “Well, cook, I guess?”I narrowed my eyes at him, while also contemplating. We should be returning to Rustaval right now and tell the people that the dragon is no longer there to destroy the country. To add, I also wanted to quickly check on the description the system just gave me earlier. It seemed to be very important, especially when the novel still hadn’t reached its ending. Despite that, now that Clairmont had mentioned it, I too felt this churning sensation of my stomach being empty. It’s already evening, and we’ve long since missed our lunch. It probably won’t hurt in having a meal before we return to Rustaval. And the system won’t just run away like that.I op

Chapter 32
SunaPhew, my body is in pain. I was punching my shoulders while sitting on the bed, and letting out groans like I’m an old woman.“Aigoo…” I remarked. I don’t really know the meaning, but I saw a lot of Korean aunties say that when they’re on the verge of complaining, or when they’re sad or something. They literally said that in almost any occasion.Still, I didn’t know that using so much Mana could hurt me physically, but apparently, they could.I grimaced at my status window. I was using a lot of my Mana that that seven figure Mana reserve I had in my body was halved in a single day. As for Clairmont, he was literally defeated and was sprawling across the bed in front of me, with his limbs stretched like a starfish.I could hear his soft groan.“Hey…” I ushered in, while massaging my aching arm. “Are you okay?”Clairmont slowly opened his eyes. Chapter 33
SunaA metallic fumbling resonated in the morning air, before I pushed the two-leaf balcony door outwards, revealing the gentle and dim morning ambience. The sun is barely up in the horizon, and although this street which houses noblemen and noblewomen weren’t usually as lively as the middle-class streets, they were especially quiet as the break of dawn.I like this ambience. I like how I am able to wake up earlier than most people, and enjoyed the serenity the morning blessed me.As I retracted away from the balcony window, I resumed on braiding my half-done hair while walking across the room to fetch a table. This morning’s menu is going to smell a bit smoky, so I better cook as close to the window as possible. While I crossed the bed, I saw Clairmont, who was lying flat on the bed, had already opened his eyes and was staring at the ceiling.“You’re up? Good morning.” My head turned briefly to Clairmont before return

Chapter 34
Suna“Oh heroes!” Elfina yelped, while acting like she just saw the love of her life. Both me and Clairmont had just arrived from the hotel by scrambling our way to the palace. If you read the previous chapter, you’ll know the reason why.I was looking behind me towards the entrance of the throne room. Who knows there might be any other person besides us being called in here that makes Elfina dramatically act like that. But no, there’s no one. The guards have all changed though, which is a good thing.“Did you guys get a good rest?” Elfina trotted closer in a quick pace, before pulling both of my hands up to her chest. Both of her green eyes were sparkling. I was sure the last time I checked, Elfina wasn’t this dramatic. Or was it just me?“I’m…” My eyes rotated between Elfina and Clairmont. “I’m good, I guess?”“How about you, master Clairmont?”

Chapter 35
Kingdom of Rustaval is in celebration. With the side of the pavement road decorated in glowing and colourful orb-like flowers, the people of Rustaval, elves and other races alike, left their homes to go to the palace to join in on that occasion.A huge and spacious hall was used to house almost all the populace of the central elven kingdom; hence the celebration was pretty grand. In the midst of the bustling hall filled with chattering and laughter, at the most isolated balcony near the end of the throne chair, Suna was staring blankly at the moon. Her light bluish ashen platinum hair, which was styled to freely hung on her back, is flowing softly upon being blown by the wind. The young girl looked concerned for something.“You aren’t going to eat something?” A figure hover behind her, while casually holding a conversation with her.Suna turned around to see Clairmont walking towards her; one hand holding a considerably big plate laden w

Chapter 36
SunaThere should be a dramatic song playing in the background. There should. Well, at least that’s what I imagined when I read the scene when Minerva met Carter. But no. There’s nothing. Only the sound of the wind, I guess? And some mumbling of the people inside the carriage that we rode which didn’t leave yet.I bet I probably looked way stupid now. With my jaw hung loose above my chest, my eyes were fixed on the figure of Carter; both malnourished and hurt.Wasn’t Minerva supposed to save him? Where is she?“I appreciate that astounded look of yours, but don’t you think we should do something with him first? Healing him or something?” Clairmont’s nonchalant tone managed to break me out of my stupor.“You’re…” I fluttered my eyes for a moment, trying to pick the sanity that left me a few minutes ago. “You’re right. But I don’t know how to heal-&rdquo

Chapter 37
SunaI can tell from that look on his face that he is wary of us. Yet what is that strange look he tossed to Clairmont?I passed my gaze between Clairmont and Carter before I said, “Are you-”GGRRRRR…..The three of us paused.Clairmont’s expression showed a hint of pure confusion after that. I don’t know if it was an acting or not. “…I don’t think my radar picked up any monster nearby.” He then turned to look at me.Okay, so that wasn’t an acting. Your innocence is kind of cute right now, Clairmont, no lie. But we all know what that sound was. And given the situation, I think I know why Carter gave Clairmont that hungry look.Emphasize on the ‘hungry’, please.Another growl resounded. I was pretty convinced in that very moment that Carter was in fact, hungry.“Uhm…” My gaze faltered between Clairmont, who nonchalantly had begun

Chapter 38
Suna “So, I want you to bathe him.” I said to Clairmont. His usual judging look that he threw at me whenever I asked a ridiculous request was more intense at that time. He then passed his gaze between me and carter, who was sitting at the edge of his bed like a sad and dirty dog. No, I mean, he was literally dirty. Dirt and blood could be seen dirtying his old and scraggy not-so-white anymore tunic, and his dirty blonde hair looked especially dirtier. I don’t know how hygiene law works for commoners here, but on earth, my mother would have thrown me a couple of her slippers at me if I were to not take a bath at least once a day. Except during cold seasons, of course. But being clean is a must. Carter might not get the chance to clean himself because of all the events that happened during the day. Why if I hadn’t taken a bath myself after cooking dinner, I wouldn’t have realized the degree of filthiness on our main character here.

Chapter 39
Suna“He’s pretty lenient for someone in a new environment.” Clairmont commented while he glanced towards Carter, who was snoozing softly while sitting on his bed.I followed Clairmont’s gaze as I halted my cleaning process. “…I won’t say he’s lenient. His shoulders looked pretty tense, and I know if we went closer to him, he would wake up in a blink of an eye. He was probably sleeping because of what happened to him this afternoon.”Clairmont paused a bit. Then he shrugged. “I see.”That moment proceeded with soft clanking noise made by the kitchen utensils as I cleaned them with water magic, and a subtle whooshing of the wind that came from the balcony window Clairmont had opened, and was sitting on a sofa that was placed directly against the balcony.“So,” I finished wiping the last plate and placed it into the inventory. While taking off my apron, I sau

Chapter 40
Hana(A few days ago, during the goblin attack)At a distance, roaring shouts and heaving could be heard as two unidentified people effortlessly destroyed the goblin group she sent specially for the mission.“Hm.” She remarked simply. “I didn’t know the envoy to edit would be that weak. Makes sense why they all die when faced against a single goblin.” Her eyes hovered around the vicinity, looking at the dead bodies sprawling on the ground.Hana then narrowed her eyes, before focusing her gaze to that two people. Those two people looked different from one another. One has a bronze skin and dark brown hair, yet possesses a fiery pair of eyes. He is a direct representation of dominance itself. Meanwhile the other one is whitish. A girl that represents solace and peace, like the colour of the blue sky.She scrunched her face into a frown. “Who are those two people that interrupted my plan?” She ha
