Of Course Trent was not happy with my decision. But since I'm the only relative of the patient, the nurse had to agree with my decision. After the blood transfusion, we are requested again to leave the room and let Bruna have rest. When we step out the doctor calls me aside and breaks the news to me. "She's pregnant." No way! "But she'll be fine, right?"  "Yes. And the baby too."  It's nighttime when Kyle and I leave the hospital and walk to the parking lot. He offers to give me a drive after we wave everyone but Trent Goodnight.  

I hop out of the bed not believing what Pepper just said.  I push back my curls in frustration and stare at the mirror. "You did what!" "I invited Trent," she repeats shamelessly.  She's not even sorry about it. "Pepper, you know I'm not on good terms with him!" I scream. "Calm down girl," she says softly. "It's not me that's on bad terms with him."  "But you are my cousin. You should respect me enough not to invite my ex who dumped me to an event you know I can't miss. Why the fuck would you go behind my back and do that?"

I call Troy and he finally picks up.  I think Josh kidnapped Bruna and took her to his cousin's place, Jesse. Troy and I drive off to Jesse's house. I hope that Josh has not touched a single hair on Bruna's head, because if he has... I will rip his heart out myself. The night is dark and there's dead silence. The lights are off in Jesse's house and there's no sign of anyone around. Fear starts to creep in. Something is just not right.  I hop out of the car and quickly rush into the house. I bang the door loudly but no one opens. Surprisingly, the door is open. Wait, could this be a trap. I quickly switch on the lights with Troy behind me when I hear screams and shouts.  

I have been to several premier league games before but none of them is as intense as the World Cup. It kicks off with England playing against a North African country, Tunisia. My fellow English are in red jerseys, red scarfs, red bandanas, some have painted their faces in red. The whole England side is painted in red. I remember someone on the plane three days ago saying the world cup divides nations. But no, it doesn't. It has brought England as a country together. It promotes unity in the sense that we have travelled all the way to come and support the talent of our players.  The game is intense, as expected. Trent does not seem surprised.  He bursts into a laugh. "Sophie would never do that. Just because your precious 'Rebecca' goes around kissing every Tom, Dick and Harry, doesn't mean my Sophie is like that." Kyle punches his cheekbone when he says that and Trent returns the same. I know I hate it when they fight but this time, I'll just let them do it. I hope Kyle beats the balls out of Trent. How dare he talk about me like that? How dare he compare me to his silly unfaithful girlfriend?  The coach separates the two boys but Kyle doesn't let it go.
