Chapter 11
(Theia’s POV) I woke up all snuggled in thick white bedding. I reached out across the bed and it was warm but empty. I opened my eyes to confirm that I was indeed alone. Looking around the room, I could see, from the floor to ceiling windows, that it was still the middle of the night. I found a led clock on the nightstand on the other side of the bed which confirmed that it was just after 3am.  I sat up in bed and looked around further. My mind flashed back to my dream the other day, and the similarities to what I was seeing and feeling, right down to me being naked. I pulled myself out of bed and looked around for something to wear. Right there on the floor, much like in my dream, was Dominic’s white shirt. It glowed in the moonlight from the window, like I had to be drawn to it. I leaned down and picked up the shirt and pulled it on, buttoning it up quickly. The shirt was big enough to cover me as it hit me around mid thigh. I looked aro

Chapter 12
(Theia’s POV)My head felt like it was being repeatedly hit with a hammer. I opened my eyes and winced at the bright lights as I looked around the room I was in. I was laid on a deep leather sofa and had a blanket over me. I could tell that I was still in the white shirt that I had been in before, although a quick glance down showed that there was a significant amount of blood down one side.“Son of a bitch,” I hissed as I tried to sit up. I was overcome by the urge to vomit as the ringing and pain in my head intensified by what felt like a million. Okay, Theia, try that again, only a lot slower, I thought to myself. I slowly moved to a sitting position. I still felt like I was going to throw up. But it wasn’t as intense as before. I raised my hand to the back of my head and felt that it was damp. There was also a massive lump that stung when I touched it, and I was pretty sure that I had a concussion. I looke

Chapter 13
(Dominic’s POV)“What the hell were you thinking?” I shouted at Liam. After I had been too late to stop the elevator, he had disappeared down the stairs. A few minutes later I smelt blood and the elevator doors opened to show Liam standing there holding an unconscious and bleeding Theia. “She slipped and hit her head,” he said as I pulled her out of his hands and cradled her to my chest. “I don’t know. Maybe she was still spooked when she saw me,” he shrugged.“Oh goddess,” I exclaimed. There was blood everywhere. My white shirt that she was wearing was covered in the stuff and it was pouring out of the back of her head. “Liam, call a doctor or something,” I shouted as I rushed her to the sofa and tried to part her hair to see the damage. This was a new experience. Werewolves heal a lot quicker than humans, not like instant, but better t

Chapter 14
(Theia’s POV)“YOU BASTARD!” I screamed at him. He didn’t even need to dodge the pen pot that I had just launched at him. It was a pathetic throw and a pathetic attempt. Just like I was a pathetic person to even remotely think that someone like Dominic Bowers actually liked me.“Theia,” he started as he moved into the office, his arms raised like he was ready to shield another attack, “Please baby, let me explain,”“Don’t you dare call me that,” I cried, the tears streaming down my face. I felt awful and humiliated. Why would anyone ever do something like this? Something like hurt crossed Dominic’s face. As if he had any sort of reason to be hurt. This was his joke. He was probably gonna be lau

Chapter 15
(Theia’s POV) “You’re a bastard,” I whispered, and Liam laughed again.“Yeah I am, but I’m also telling the truth and you know it.” he said with a smirk. “Listen darling, I don’t care about you, frankly I think you are beyond pathetic. But I care about Dominic and about what being around you will do and how it will weaken him. So listen to me carefully when I tell you this.” He leaned forward in the seat again.“This joke was all his idea, and he picked you out himself. He was the one with the idea to hack your computer. It was on his order.” I stared at him, feeling all the feelings of despair. I tried to sit up. I needed to get out of here. I couldn’t be around all this an

Chapter 16
(Dominic’s POV) “I don’t ever want to see you again,” I sat in the car, unable to drive away. Those words were rolling around in my head, over and over. I had watched Theia go into the apartments around thirty minutes ago. I watched in hope that she would turn back, and then tell me that she didn’t mean it. But she didn’t. She didn’t ever want to see me again.  It wasn’t a rejection, but it might as well have been for how much my heart was hurting right now. Finally, I started the car and drove back to the apartment. It was quiet when I got there. Liam had gone to bed in one room and Isabella had taken a guest room. She had driven four hours in the middle of the night to get here. The least I could do was let her rest for a while before she had to drive back. My mobile phone rang, and I looked down, hoping it would be Theia, but it wasn’t. The caller ID said that it was my sister, Leah. I let the call ring off. I didn’t want to spe

Chapter 17
(Theia’s POV) *** Six Weeks Later *** I sat at my desk and sighed. I had been sitting staring at a blank screen for about an hour. It had been the same for the last six weeks or so, ever since… I couldn’t even think about the whole thing without feeling like a complete idiot.  I had spent the first three days or so in bed, constantly crying and refusing to move. Finally, Naya had got annoyed and tipped my mattress up. I had hit the floor with a bang and an ouch, but neither she nor Harlow would let me go back to bed. I finally told them what happened, and they were furious, and rightly so. Naya wanted to plot some revenge on him, but all I wanted to do was to forget it ever happened.  We opted for planning a girl’s night out instead and two weeks after, I was standing outside a nightclub looking at the entrance in horror as the ridiculously long line slowly moved down. It was turning cold, and I was wearing the smalles

Chapter 18
(Theia’s POV) “Come on out Theia,” Mark called in a singsong voice, “It will be easier for you,” “Fuck off, Mark,” I shouted, and he laughed. “Hard way it is then, babe,” he said. I watched as he began whispering and then I swore his hand glowed and with a wave of his hand, the table flew across the room. I screamed as I tried to back away.  “Aw, come on Theia,” Mark mocked as he slowly moved towards me, “Don’t be like that,” I could tell that he was playing a cat and mouse game and was backing me into a corner. “Someone is coming for me,” I hissed at him and he just laughed again. “I wonder if they will get here on time,” he said, “Or if you and I will be long gone by then,” Oh my god, he was planning on kidnapping me.  “Gone where?” I thought if I kept him talking, then Leah could get here in time. “There are some powerful people who would pay a tidy sum for something like you,” he rep

Chapter 19
(Theia’s POV) I woke up in the morning feeling more rested than I ever did. Although I could still feel the ache of when Mark attacked me yesterday. I looked at the empty space beside me and sighed. The dog must have left during the night. I didn’t know why, but that made me feel so sad. Of course, that was silly. It wasn’t like I could keep him or anything. Pets were prohibited in the apartments. Plus, I was sure that I was going to have enough explaining to do when I called my landlord about the damage from yesterday. I stretched in bed, mentally assessing where it hurt. I wondered if it was worth taking a hot bath with some oils to try to ease my aches and pains as I got out of bed. I was still dressed in my clothes from yesterday, so I would at least need to shower. I walked out into the living area and gasped. Leah was casually sitting on the sofa watching TV with a hot cup of something in her hand. But what amazed me was the look of the a

Chapter 20
(Theia’s POV)Leah didn’t leave me alone for the next couple of days. I couldn’t really do much, anyway. That last seizure had hit me hard, and I was still feeling drained from it. I did notice that I didn’t have the usual urge to write it down. It was like telling Dominic was enough. But I spent most of the time in bed or on the sofa, with a bucket beside me, as I couldn’t stop being sick. “Maybe you have a stomach bug,” Leah suggested after bringing the bucket back to me. The woman was a saint, with her cleaning up after me, and getting me food and keeping me company. “Yeah, maybe,” I said as she sat back on the sofa and started the random movie.“You know you don’t have to hang around with me,” I said. “I’m sure you have plenty of friends and plenty of more fun stuff to do than to look after my weak ass self.” Leah pulled a scowl
