She had created a system where all the maids had to check in for work every morning after the bell rang, so she could know which maid wasn't following her new rule. She made sure to wake up an hour before the bell sounded, so she could inspect the mansion thoroughly and know where work was needed, so the maids wouldn't cheat their way out of their chores. She marched through different passages, inspected different halls, and put down notes that would help her remember.
