Seraphina POV I woke from a dead sleep to a feeling of dread. Sweat covered my body as I recollected a strange dream. A hand coming out of the dirt as a body resurrected itself out of the moist soil. I couldn’t make out the person’s facial features. It were as if the shadows were purposefully hiding the person’s face, a cruel joke of sorts.The dream then shifted to a memory of Allister’s face as he tortured me in the chair that sat in the cellar. However instead of cutting me like he had in reality, he cut out my unborn child. “Now I have both of them,” he yelled before a manic cackle escaped him. I had jolted upright out of a dead sleep, breathing hard and sweating profusely. As if sensing my panic through the bond, Callan jolted up from his own sleep and looked around the room for threats. Callan wrapped his arms around me while rocking us side to side to soothe me. “Baby, what’s wrong?” Callan asked, his voice still hoarse with sleep. “Allister was back and took out ur baby”
